Is Whitening Safe?
Whitening is very safe. We use a product that has been proven safe when used under the direction of a dentist.
How Does It Work?
A whitening gel is placed in a custom made thin bleaching tray that fits over your teeth. As the active ingredients in the gel, carbamide peroxide is broken down, enters the enamel and dentin and bleaches the colored substances. The structure of the tooth is not changed, only the tooth color is made lighter.
How Can I Whiten My Teeth ?
You can whiten your teeth in our office, in only ONE-HOUR or comfortable and cost effectively, in private, while you sleep or for a few hours during the day.
How Long Will The Result Last?
The effects typically last several years. Many patients choose to "touch-up" their teeth every 6 to 12 months by applying the treatment for 1 or 2 nights.
Are There Any Side-Effects?
Some patients may experience heightened tooth sensitivity to cold, or mild tooth or gum sensitivity during treatment, but these symptoms are only temporary and disappear within a few days.
